Out 77 < AA, missed a 7 or 8 for win, he had both my suits, bastard. Could've folded. Stubborn
Made a questionable call with AJo in a limped pot, guy hit 12-outer on me, 20K pot, i picked up some antes and now at 23K
Tried to steal w/ QTo, short stack laised, i called getting 2:1, missed four-outer, got it in w/ 99 vs AKo a hand later, was near 28K, made a...
Played 55 strongggg going into color-up break. @22.5K
Got it in w/ 77 on 545r flop after sb raised 3x pre. He folded to my 6K raise, at just over 18K
Somehow back above 10K. Blinds 3/6 w/ 75ante.
Flopped four to the steel wheel and refused to take a free card, bricked - crippled down to 2250, went all-in four hands in a row, called on 1st
Put broadway on the board. I check, he bet 4K. I contemplate moving in for over 7K more, just called. He had an ace, no diamond, chop. At 15K
Utg limped, i bet the flop, he called, turn brought broadway for me but put a frush out there. I c/c 700 into 1750. River puts broadway
On break, @14,625. Just played JcTc like it was AA and then two hands later jammed all-in pre w/ AJo after five people limped.
@11,025 after over-playing 2nd pair on button ... Bastards kept value-checking to my ass. 10 min left in 100/200 lvl
Good thing they broke our table... Since i recently showed down air... My dyslexia sent me on a small journey across the poker room, tbl 23, st 7
River brick, i check behind after missing 10 outs. I go on a mini-tear and am back to 13K
Blinds up. @11,450. Raised button w/ JT, flop was K97 - 2200 in pot on turn, sb had 5350, i bet 2675, he picked up a diamond draw w/ 2nd pair
Paulsen's at my table
I c/r 700 more, he hardly hesitates before shoving. I call with set of deuces, he's dead w/ KQ on the turn when the board reads K32A - @ 14,425
I'm in the 8, 7 and 9 took ALOT of flops/turns, mostly h/u. My bb, 9 min-raises, folds to me, i call. K32r. I check, he bets 200 into 450.
For the whole first level I only saw one flop: c/o raised my bb - i called w/ small pp, chk-folded when i wiffed the frop. @9850 (10K start)
Borgata $340, $75K Gtd. 30 min levels. 2nd hand and the dealer already hates me.

13 remain, sadly, Pops is not one of them. Some people would be happy to make over $29.50 / hr, but ask a poker and they'll tell you different
Oh, how the mighty have fallen - our hero has almost half his stack out there in the small blind - maybe he'll pull a treetop
On break, heading into lvl 12: 1500/3K w/ 500 ante. 15 remain.
about 5 mins left in lvl 11
16 remain, avg is 52.8K and looks like pops has got slightly under 60K, on the button
17 left. Level up... 1K/2K w/ 300. Avg stack is 49.7K... M of just under 10. Pops looks to be sitting just around 44K on the button
Bubble burst and Pops is on the good end. He's so proud of himself 'cause now he's gonna have a poker pages bio. Congrats on your gtd payday.
19 remain. Bubble time. Pops just got slightly better than a walk in the bb - everyone folded to sb, sb completed, they check down, A high good
I can't stand Olga, she dealt to me last night and spent most of the time at the table with neck craned up to watch TV. Sit out, I will.
About 20 mins left in lvl 10. 800/1600 w/ 200. I'm sweating the action tableside because Olga is currently dealing my cash game. I can't stand
Momentarily alarmed when i came back from dinner and pops wasn't where i left him. Looks like he's right around 50K, at a diff table -20 remain

On Dinner Break

Payouts:
$18.8K, $10.1K, $5K, $3K, $2K, $1521 for final table.
$1,014 for 7-12 place.
$659 bottom money (13-18).
He just took down a pot that was raised pf - bb bet 3500 at a J52r board, he raised to 9K and wasn't contested
Looks like 22 players left, Pops has been at the same table in the same seat for the whole ordeal...
Pops just doubled through on a monsterpotten, sb vs bb, T99 flop, he ha raised pre w/ AT and called a ridiculous over-shove after he lead at flop
Third player insta-mucked in-turn. Looks like there's 41/169 remaining, 18 paid, he's above avg in chips, hard to get a firm count
Halfway through lvl 7: 300/600 w/ 75 - looked like AJ8r flop, Pops was on the button and bet 4K, after much deliberation, bb folded, 3rd player ,
Avg stack is a little over 12K, pops has got around 20K and just entered lvl 6: 200/400
Pops just got it all-in pf w/ JJ vs TT, held. Sitting a little better than 2x avg at end of lvl 4
Ricky and I suck at poker, pops is still in, he just knocked out an AC regular "Syracuse Chris" by making the call (ahead) with 77 on an 865 flop
Ha! Out in first thirty minutes. Played bad, got antsy. Should be awake for a good four hours before ever sitting down to play a tourn
.. At our own respective tables for the 6-max event. T 32, RB 37 APS 42? Should be starting momentarily
Pops, Ricky, and I pleased the gamblinization gods somehow and were fortunate to all do better than break even last night. We're each at ..

USPC $300+$40 NLHE 6-Max

Pops and I heading to AC in a few hours.  Tomorrow morning we're both going to play the $300+$40 6-Max event.  Murphy's law suggests we'll be at the same table right from the start.

I had considered selling shares for this event but I'd hate to "pull a Jason" and end up cashing huge only to fork over a large portion of the winnings due to the somewhat "small" $340 entry fee.

Nonetheless, I plan to post updates from the tourney like I did with the WSOP Event this past summer and finish it off with a re-cap write-up.  If all goes well, who knows, maybe I'll play the USPC bigger buy in events and try to make us all some money.

I can't say thank you enough to those of you that have supported me in the past and remained patient during the roughest times of the summer.  Here's hoping it all works out in the end.
